Ian began his work life in the arts, earning a music degree from the University of Utah, teaching trumpet lessons, and managing the workings of his three bands.

Ian entered the mortgage business in 2006, having had a lifelong interest in the workings of money. This interest became a passion as he learned that sound money management could help his family reach their financial goals.

With problem-solving skills honed through teaching and business management, Ian helps clients navigate the mortgage process and obtain loans ideally suited to their individual needs, while providing tailored education about the movements of the interest rate market, enabling them to secure the best interest rate at the best time.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys trail running and backpacking in the wilderness as well as experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
