I got involved in the mortgage industry after serving on a two-year mission in Brazil for my church. After returning home, I began investing in real estate by purchasing and restoring houses in various Portland neighborhoods. Eventually, a real estate agent recruited me into the mortgage loan business. I went on to start Source One Financial because I saw a need for a company that was passionate about educating its clients to help them make sound financial decisions and assist them on a path to financial independence.

With the major changes in the financial markets, I merged Source One Financial into a mortgage bank within Mortgage Trust in April 2008. At Mortgage Trust, I gained the ability to offer FHA loans and have access to banking channels that brokerages do not have. I opened a branch in the Pearl District for my team, Strategy7. At Strategy7, we take a full seven circle analysis of a clients' financial situation and design strategies consistent with their short-, mid-, and long-term goals.

Away from work, I serve on the board of a number of business organizations and am active in my church's youth programs. I enjoy half-marathons and triathlons as well as reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
