I joined Mortgage Trust in July 2005 and enjoy a unique opportunity that allows me to work in a dual capacity as both Underwriting Manager and as a licensed loan originator. I started in the lending business at Bank of America in 1993, which gave me a great educational foundation in which to further my underwriting career. From there, I advanced to a contract underwriter position for PMI Mortgage Insurance, working as on-site underwriting support to local wholesale lenders.

I attended Willamette University and the University of Oregon and received a degree in management and organizational leadership from George Fox University. My hobbies include cooking, gardening, jazz, and any activity that includes spending time with my family. I also enjoy volunteering as a camp counselor for Muscular Dystrophy Camp. I'm an avid runner and member of the "Sweat Equity" Hood to Coast and Futsal teams.

What I enjoy most about my job is being able to use my problem-solving skills to come up with creative financing solutions to give borrowers the best possible loan programs for their long-term and short-term needs. My underwriting background gives me the opportunity to anticipate potential qualification hurdles so that they don't become unwelcome surprises at closing!

I'm very glad to have landed at Mortgage Trust because I feel that there is a very strong sense of community in the work environment, and Mortgage Trust employees know that success can only be achieved by focusing on customers' success first.
